This artwork was used in a publication for a newspaper or periodical, the artwork is a reproduction but that hand written notes around the art is original. Publishers or Art Directors would make several changes to the art before printing, see pictures for notes. This has some pretty interesting notes about making Theodore Roosevelt darker and emphasizing him shooting the moose.
The condition of the art is fair with some slight tears none which affect the art.
